{good for the creative soul} CCB april challenge

in 2018 CCB wants to push us into wonderful creative adventures, to push our limits, encourage us to try new things. and that's why the "good for the creative soul" was created - a serie of out of the box challenges! 
(em 2018 CCB quer nos dar um empurrão para o maravilhoso e criativo mundo de aventuras, nos forçar a ir além de nossos limites e nos encorajar a tentar novos projetos e por isso o "bom para a alma criativa" foi criado - uma serie de desafios fora da casinha!)

for the month of april this is what is cooking up:
(para o mês de abril isso é o que foi planejado)

"grow" - and we needed to have something that actually grow on our project – leaf, flower,  grains, grass or kids for that sake…
("crescer" e nós precisávamos por esse motivo ter em nosso projeto algo que realmente crescesse - folha, flor, grãos, grama ou crianças.)

we could use any technique/material we wanted with 75% CCB products.
(podíamos usar qualquer técnica/material que quiséssemos mas que tivesse 75% de produtos CCB.)

here is my take for this fun challenge!
(e aqui está o que criei para esse divertido desafio!)

"help them grow wings"
(ajude-os a crescer suas asas)

for this challenge i chose to create a scrapbooking layout with a picture of my son and grandchildren.
like the flowers they grow every minute of the day! i want to help them grow wings, nurture their sense of wonder, inspire them to believe and above all love them like there’s no tomorrow!
(para esse desafio escolhi fazer um layout com a foto de meu filho e meus netos. como as flores eles crescem cada minuto do dia! eu quero ajuda-los a crescer suas asas, alimentar seu senso de beleza, incentiva-los a acreditar no mundo a acima de tudo ama-los como se não houvesse amanhã)

with a brayer i color the background with Glimmer Mist Marigold, Patina and Turquoise Blue.
i loved the watercolor effect of the brayer with the Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist!
(com um rolinho para espalhar tinta eu colori o fundo com Glimmer Mist Marigold, Patina e Turquoise Blue. amei o efeito de aquarela que o rolinho deu com Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist!)

the butterflies were made with modeling paste and stencil and with a fine brush i painted them with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Sapphire. after dry i applied a thin coat of pearl finish acrylic paint.
(as borboletas foram feitas com pasta de modelar e estêncil e com um pincel bem fininho pintei com Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Sapphire. depois de seco apliquei uma fina camada de tinta acrílica perolada)

with a fine brush i colored the sunflowers with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Marigold and Halloween Orange. for the leaves i used first Glimmer Mist Emerald Green and then watercolor dark green marker.
(com um pincel fininho colori os girassóis com Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Marigold e Halloween Orange. para as folhas usei primeiro Glimmer Mist Emerald Green e depois canetinha aquarelavel verde escuro.)

from the marvelous 7Gypsies Architextures Stash Paque Enjoy i chose this beautiful printed paper with flower, leaves and butterflies. i fussy cut them and positioned over and under the picture and spread the little butterflies all over my layout.
(recortei essa linda gravura de flores, folhas e borboletas do 7Gypsies Architextures Stash Paque Enjoy. fixei tudo por cima e por baixo da foto e espalhei as pequenas borboletas pelo meu layout.)
